Knotwork and Woodcuts
I've been fascinated for years with medieval art such as that found in The Book of Kells and other illuminated manuscripts, and sometimes I create drawings of my own based on the look of Celtic knotwork.
My college's Commercial Art courses were likewise not very modern; they included linoleum carving, plexiglass etching, and woodcut block printing.
